There is planning for development going on near Somerset. Two major plans Montgomery County is working on are the River Road-Westbard Sector Plan and the Downtown Bethesda Sector Plan. The Town and other communities are actively participating in monitoring and shaping the ideas being considered by the Planning Department. There is much information about the sector plans on the Montgomery County Planning Department website and the documents on this site. The Town will post information about these projects as it becomes available.
