The Town of Somerset has a proud heritage of Committees comprising of volunteer Somerset residents dating back to its founding. Committees are established by the Mayor with the approval of the Town Council. These Committees focus on a variety of interests to the Town that help determine their scope and activities. The Committees are governed by rules set forth in both the Town Charter and the Town Code of Ordinances.

Audit Committee

The annual Town Audit shall be reviewed by an auditing committee appointed by the Town Council. Such committee shall render its report to the Mayor and Town Council before the end of the calendar year. Read More
